Good morning! I was looking at the dictionary, old school (turns out it’s very good for your brain) and somehow glanced at “may” and one of the definitions was “chance” but because my eyes are wonky in the early morning (and at night, still) and the letters are so very tiny and there was a smudge or crease or something not right, it looked to me like “eliance”, which is quite musical and beautiful and a word I’m not familiar with (ur, because it doesn’t exist. Yet) so I look it up and of course it isn’t there so I go back to may and upon closer inspection see that it reads as chance and then have myself define this embryonic word and come up with this:

“Eliance” brings to mind “reliance” but without the “re”, which means again (or even, “alliance”). It is a trust which has never gone away, is impossible to tamper with, cannot be tarnished. Whole. Unsullied. Confident. Of the soul. “She brings to life the spirit of eliance.”

I know it’s a big word because it made me cry.
