Wild Swans

young one paddling away

Happy surprise today, Doug found a flock of wild swans a couple towns over on his way home from work today, came and got me and the shot from the bridge is cool but this young one took an interest in me (they were quite far away and no way for me to get closer) so I ran down from the bridge, around to the edge of the ice just in time for it to glide under the bridge into the sunlight for the money shot. Of course *my* swans are wild as well, but not really, since they’re my buddies.
