When Darkness Turns to Light

(I would have never gotten at this w/o the punks, the feelings soliloquy and the boat dream, so it all works together for good):

the three wise swans, early morning pond, Lori B. McCray

Feeling along the dark edge, the crumbling rock
slips away and I fall into the dark sea. Dark as far
as the eye can see, without a guide, without an
answer.

One goes on, without comfort. Without hope.
Without answers. The dawn breaks through the
darkness, despite your despair, and that in itself
is an answer, a hope, a comfort. The light arrives,
to save you.
