The Knowing Place
You are the heart of me; the blood and bones and body of my soul. Before the tidal wave of doubt dismantled you you knew, and breathed the truth into your bones. Strong and clear, it seeped inside your soul and settled there. Years dragged by, ’til you came up for air. Out of the murky waters of the past,
you rose above the tidal wave of doubt and struggled free.
Surprised to find the knowing still intact, relieved to have the tidal wave dispelled you breathe; a strong, clear breath into your bones and know the truth was in you all along.
