Swans in Autumn

Mostly on facebook, Flickr a museum, i do enjoy this medium, though frusterated i can’t read more than a sentence if i won’t be a ‘member’. In any event, haven’t shared pond photos in a bit, it’s been sublimely sublime:

four boys and Buzz
Buzz and Leon, Abby, Buzz and Bella (sad but true, the 2 lighter are being harassed by both parents and sibs. Not on my watch…)
Bella and Abby, Bella and Buzz ‘making hearts’, after Buzz had been off patrolling (he flew in, it was breathtaking. Camera blur, lol)
Bella and Buzz
Buzz in the cloud water, Bella, Buzz and brood
father son moment, juvenile wings, slowly become white
mother-daughter moment, poor Buzz chased out of the water by bully, before his flight feathers came in (and yes, despite the fellow who works for the ‘Inn Keeper’ admonishing me (“They don’t need your help”), they *did* need my help. Bonnie&Clyde were still visible a few days ago, though keeping their distance, and I didn’t see them yesterday but have thought before, oh, the relief of their finally pissing off, only to spot them again. But this has gone on far too crazy long.
Clyde, big beautiful bully, larger than Buzz, and a rare flight shot, Buzz in front. Poor sweet swans, terrorized in their own territory. It’s just wrong, bird, plant, animal, anyone we’ve ousted for our own comfort and convenience, we have no conscience? It’s just wrong.
Bella and LB (Little Brave), Buzz, Bella, Adam
In the beginning, Bella and brood of 8
