Be like the sun, which shines on everyone. Spill out and over, like a flood, a fire, a field of flowers. Never say, ‘For everyone, but not for you.’ Bloom in the ugly spots and make them beautiful. Love the ungodly, that they may touch the robe of mercy. Be the Peace which you offer to your neighbor, in exchange for her anxiety. Take her fears and bury them. There. Now you can both be free.
