Lost, without hope of a map,
smeared directions, impossible to follow,
not ready to leave but no one asked you ~
What does it really change, to protest?
May all beings be free of suffering.
May we all meet in mercy and find peace.
When we let go of everything that isn’t love,
only the love remains.
LBM 6/22/2023 (I return to the past to bring it forward, healed. Lightened, it’s not such a heavy burden. Sure, you can bury it. It catches up with you somehow. Better to just look at it, no matter how many times it surfaces, until the spiral is complete and the mind has learned to stay present. Be Here Now is a fine book. It sounds so easy but no, it’s not simple).
