Poor Bella under siege again
I haven’t been to check on B&B in a few days, as it’s been cold and wet. Now I don’t know if Bella is brooding or not. Bonnie&Clyde, who chased Bella off after William died and her 9 babies as well, have returned, looking to raise a family, seems to me. Buzz did a valiant job of defending his territory, Bella no where to be seen. I watched a long time, from both sides of the pond, yelled at the intruders (lol, like that would do any good. You Can’t Live Here! GO AWAY!) and three times Buzz charged me, and I didn’t know what it meant, but the last time he came in close and it kinda scared me. I wasn’t sure if I had Buzz confused with Clyde. So I walked through the brambles, all the way to the end of the pond and there’s Bella (just like before, she had to hide down there from the bullies) and she’s starving, so I fed them both and whispered sweet calming things and they both hissed at me. Oy. Always a drama. Poor Bella has been through it all. I thought she was finally catching a break. Buzz is looking sensational, bless him. My garden seems to be ok now, if you have extra love and light, please send it to Bella&Buzz that the intruders leave. If they both have cygnets and are still feuding it gets very very ugly. Thanks!
