A Canticle to our Creator

Dear Lord, you are everywhere and here. I thank you for your Creation. It’s magnificence defies words. Forgive my faithlessness, and redeem whatever may be worthy in me, through your merit. Guide my wayward feet along the path which you’ve set out for me and keep me humbly cheerful.

I am so blessed. Thank you for Love, in all its colorful disguises, and teach me to Love as you do. Plant in my heart the seed of new life, that I may flower more beautifully. Help me to learn from the past and hope for the future, and trust your wise mercy in all things.

Thank you for your generous belief in humanity, as I begin to doubt that we can rise above our wickedness. You are the Light we carry into the darkness. Grant us your Peace.
