Mis-Communication
The organization which has been dedicated to cleaning up the local ponds for the past 30 years has taken on new leadership. We, of the old board, haven’t been involved in this new direction, though all of us combined have a great wealth of information. They want to start fresh, that’s fine. Surprised by the email request that the new president would like some of my archived pics (email from old board member), I set about collecting and date checking and made a very nice flashdrive of the past 20+ years of my involvement with 2 of the 4 ponds, sent email to president and he replies, “Ur, we’re all set, thanks.” The old me would take this personally. Why wouldn’t he want my fabulous photographs (what they have now is. Well I checked and am not impressed but that’s not nice. And I can be objective, I am often blown away by other people’s work. I hesitate to say daily but fairly close to that, as I pop around Facebook). Now that you’re heard the long story, here are some pics of William’s pond (even though his body has left it, his spirit remains).
