I would have come sooner, if I had known. Yet even not knowing, I couldn’t come to know ~ I was only ready now (I still don’t quite believe it). All this time I was certain you were gone, you may have been here all along.
How to explain my absence, after 20 years of devotion? Were you waiting for my return? Were you thinking I’d forgotten you? Dear sweet friends of my heart, not a day goes by without you in it. Love is a knowing no words can explain. I am here now, you are there now. Have we ever been apart?
