You have been with me

through the shadows into light

Lover of my soul

I actually wrote this for my clarinet, I began playing when I was 10, it saved me from a not great situation. But of course, it might be for anyone who has loved me. Here is the FB link to the video Doug made last night, on a whim I got my clarinet out and played this haunting solo from Rachmaninoff’s 2nd symphony. It was perfect before Doug got home, and I was so excited, because the soft high note is trepidacious, lol, and I nailed it. But in the recording I ran out of breath because I took more in than I let out, which, in an orchestra performance, would be a complete disaster (fortunately, never happened). So am learning to live with imperfection. That’s a good thing! https://www.facebook.com/1321239163/videos/1080146095883886/
