Go on with the Good
When the road turns, when the path ahead is cluttered and confusing, who among us isn’t tempted to turn back? I learned early on, without my mother, you take the good which you’ve been given and go on. Though grief drags you back, Love insists that you move forward.
I miss William and my rabbits, the life I had when I was with them, but hold those memories in my heart. Those brilliant wings, that velvet fur have softened me, stretched my soul and clarified my vision.
Whatever comes next, whatever lies ahead, I carry my loves with me. Knowing meets un-knowing in confidence and grace. What’s past is always somehow present. What’s loved will surely live forever.
