Decency

I’ve never been interested in what color a person is or if they believe what I believe. What interests me is if they’re a decent human being. Someone you would leave your dear child or elderly parent with, to watch over while you did a quick errand. If you can’t imagine doing so, you’ve solved the question of what makes a person ‘decent’ (many words may be substituted here, kind, loving, sensitive, humble, thoughtful, friendly. respectable, caring, considerate, etc.)
