Beauty as Refuge

The aptly named, Bella

Years ago and still today, I wanted to know Beauty. Not as a word or an idea. Not as a concept or even an intention, but as a sacred calling. A mission. I found Beauty everywhere. Even in ugliness, there were inklings. I learned to see deeply and hear secrets in the silence. Beauty became my confidant. My talisman. My familiar.

In the making of a prayer, the crafting of an art, the planting of a seed, we create a peaceful sanctuary. Beauty invites, inspires, affirms, consoles, encourages, supports, uplifts the soul to heavenly heights, to soar on its shimmering, everlasting wings.
