An Anniversary Poem

Out of and over the detritus of the past, our eyes met, and we felt it in our souls. Feel it still, reverberating, like tuning forks, entrained. Living in Love, there is no fear, only surmountable challenges. No loneliness, because we face each one together. No hopelessness, because we have overcome the obstacles to togetherness.

Nothing held back, nothing hidden, we’ve thrown our chips all in, good and not so good, all of them, always, forever falling together.
